 Beth Hayward, Minister

Rev. Beth began her ministry with Fort Massey in the fall of 2023. She is an experienced spiritual leader, passionate about supporting individuals and communities to connect with their core values, so that they can live their best lives. She holds an M.Div from the Atlantic School of Theology and is an active voice in the realm of Open and Relational (Process) Theology. Beth has a particular gift for articulating big ideas in practical ways. She’s known for her warm heart, unfaltering authenticity, and candid preaching.

In over 20 years of ministry, she has successfully nurtured thriving Christian communities which are grounded in awe, compassion, and fierce authenticity. She has served churches from Newfoundland to BC; most recently, she comes to us from Canadian Memorial United in Vancouver.

Beth has been called to Fort Massey to reinvigorate our ministry with our neighbours in the south end and beyond, to support us in becoming a community of Christian practice that is truly welcoming to all God’s children. You’ll see Beth in the neighbourhood causing good trouble, and on social media boldly speaking truth to power.

You can connect with Beth through her podcast Souls in Soles,  https://soulsinsoles.podbean.com/ and her personal website http://bethhayward.org

And of course, by email: minister [at] fortmasseychurch.com
