Information Regarding COVID-19
As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves and we continue to monitor government and public health requirements and guidance, it remains our priority to ensure the safety and well-being of all members of our community of faith at Fort Massey United Church. With our focus firmly on that priority, our current intention with respect to the physical re-opening of our church and related facilities is set out below:
As of April 22, 2021 provincial regulations make the holding of in-person worship services impossible until further notice. Services will be recorded on Saturdays (with a maximum of five people present — minister, liturgical assistant, music director, soloist, and camera operator).
Groups and organizations who use the hall need to make contact with our office administrator on Thursdays for further instructions on Fort Massey’s COVID-19 protocols before entering the building.
Weekday church sponsored activities, meetings and groups will not be meeting until further notice.
Pastoral care is limited to phone calls, emails, Zoom. In person office appointments or home visits are available for emergencies only, with Facemasks and physical distancing required.
Looking forward to seeing you in person when allowed.
